The Laboratory Medicine Department is dedicated to providing high-quality services to our consultants and patients. The department of laboratory services provides a comprehensive range of laboratory tests for the diagnosis, management, and prevention of a wide variety of diseases that facilitate clinical care in the hospital. It is designed to include all sub-specialties of laboratory medicine: Hematology & Immunohematology, Clinical Biochemistry, Clinical Microbiology, Histo- and Cyto-Pathology. To deliver quality pathology services to both hospitalised and outpatient patients, our laboratory staff collaborate closely with doctors. Our laboratory services are critical to a timely and accurate diagnosis and subsequent treatment. We are adequately prepared to undertake a wide range of laboratory investigations critical to patient care, such as regular blood, urine, and other tests based on the needs of patients and consultants, all of which are completed on time. We employ dependable automated computerised analysers for the bulk of our tests, and we place a premium on accuracy, precision, efficiency, and timely reporting while maintaining high standards.
