Dr. Ravi Mohanka has received training at the Government Medical College (GMC) Nagpur, the University of Rochester Medical Centre (URMC) at Strong Memorial Hospital, the Thomas E Starzl Transplantation Institute at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Centre (UPMC), Washington University at St. Louis (WashU), the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IIT-B), the University of Toronto, and other institutions. He has worked at several of the biggest transplant facilities, including Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Medanta Medicity, Global Hospital, and the Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital.
He has extensive expertise with over 1500 liver transplants, the majority of which are adult and pediatric living donor liver transplants, as well as over 1000 liver, gall bladder, and bile duct cancer procedures, some of which have been covered in media and publications.
