Arihant Multispeciality Hospital organised Central India’s first Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) workshop for Intensivists

Arihant Multispeciality Hospital organised a Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) workshop, the first of its kind in Central India. The training programme was attended by critical care specialists and intensivists from across the region, who had a unique and practical experience.
The workshop was led by renowned experts of the country, Dr. Ramesh Hasani and Dr. Utkarsh Shah. In the workshop, the participants were given live demonstrations and hands-on training on techniques extremely useful in ICU such as lung ultrasound, venous access, echocardiography and abdominal scanning.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Ramesh Hasani said, “Point-of-care ultrasound is revolutionising patient care in the ICU. This training gives doctors the ability to make accurate decisions at the bedside.”
